PUBLICATION PROCESS
- Upon submission, the corresponding author receives confirmation by email. All communication must be via the journal's official address: revistabosque@uach.cl. Personal contact with editorial members is not allowed.
- The Editorial Committee verifies manuscript scope and compliance with author guidelines. Non-compliant submissions are rejected. Proper formatting shortens editorial processing time.
- Compliant manuscripts are marked as “received” and sent to at least two external referees. Reviewers must disclose conflicts of interest. The committee may request additional data or methods.
- Reviewer decisions: i) publish with minor revisions, ii) publish with major revisions,
iii) revise and resubmit as a new submission, iv) reject. The decision is communicated to the corresponding author.
- Upon acceptance, authors must submit a revised version within three weeks. Manuscript order in the journal is based on acceptance date.
Manuscripts may be rejected at any stage due to content, format issues, and failing to submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe. The Editorial Committee may notify the authors’ institution in cases of plagiarism or unethical conduct.
