The effect of 4 wood preservatives in 3 different dosis, was studied in particle board properties of Pinus radiata D. Don. The swelling, bending, tensile strength properties and also toxicity test against dry wood termites Kalotermes chilensis (Blan.) were investigated. The most affected property was the tensile strength. All preservatives showed good protection against termites.
