Abstract

The insecticides ALSYSTIN 480, DIPTEREX 500 and DIPTEREX 80 were laboratory tested for the control of Rhyacionia buoliana larvae.
The insecticides were manually applied to 2 years old Pinus radiata plants in one only dosis. Later those plants were infested at their apex with R. bouliana, wintering larvae.
The effect of the insecticides was measured during 25 days through daily mortality, reaching 63% for ALSYSTIN 480 and 100% for both DIPTEREX formulae.
